In my last post, I shared a summary of my recent successes, but this time I want to talk about the flip side of success – failure – and why it is important. Never have I learned more than when I have failed, and had to pick myself up again. It is in failing that I have learned resilience and perseverance – two traits that have taken me a long way when it comes to pushing the limits. Here is my 2016 TEDxUAlberta talk on the same: “On Success, Failure, Resilience & Pushing the Limits: What I Learned from Sociopaths, Navy SEALs, Medicine, Martial Arts, Astronauts…and My Father.”

Until next time…ad astra!
